  1. Hopefully the same thing as that fella right there!

  2. Gosh, that is so inspiring. I agree with his comment on addiction. I plan on riding as long as I have breath. Thanks for the video!

  3. Great video!

I once met an 80 year old Englishman travelling solo across Canada on his bike. His wife passed away the year before and he said he needed something to do. I don’t know if he made it but he has been an inspiration ever since.

Let’s hope we are able at that age.

  4. What a wonderful inspiration. In my suburb ( which is very hilly ) there is a gentleman of 80 plus who power walks every single day come rain or shine…. he is slim and trim and in excellent shape. He makes me feel guilty when I drive past him after skipping a cycle because it was raining. We have a lot still to learn from the elderly!

  5. See my post on my training plan!!

  6. Reblogged this on Nothing Adventured and commented:
I get very inspired by these stories. God willing, this will be me.

  7. Thank you Frank for sharing this story. I am inspired to do more as a result of watching this. My dad’s saying was “use it or lose it” which referred to muscle use. So right. P
